Introduction
I'm a 30 year old union electrician by trade, tech/gadget junkie by hobby.  I'm married to the love of my life and we have 2 wonderful babies of the mini dachshund variety.  I've lived in Kentucky all my life.  I love discovering new products and like to find new gadgets to simplify everyday task.  I frequently test and review products on amazon.  In fact I'm a top 1000 reviewer on amazon.com.

Why I review
I bought a home security camera system a little over a year ago on amazon.  After receiving and installing the system, I quickly realized that my expectations based on the manufacturers claims were not met.  I began researching how to make this camera system do everything the manufacturer said it would.  I spend many hours researching and trying different ideas.

I finally got everything working like I thought it should and I remember thinking "I wish someone had posted how to do this.  It would make life easier."  That's when I decided to go post a very lengthy, comprehensive review to share my findings and solutions with other customers.

I've met so many people through the 148 comments that my post has received.  My review has been rated as helpful 98% of the time with over 800 ratings.  I've saved many people countless hours on research and experimentation like I went through.  I know that reviews are a crucial part to buying something online as that's the first thing I look at when buying a product I can't physically examine in a store.  I've been helped many times by other's reviews and like to pay it forward by helping others with my reviews.

I've been thanked so many times for my reviews and like to take the time to thank others when they are helpful to me.  It just feels good to know your helping someone.

Why A Blog?
I've never had a blog before, but I see this as maybe a possibility to have a farther reach than just an amazon review on a specific product page.  I hope to share my findings on products I love to review and hopefully I'll meet some new people along the way.  I want to share new products and gadgets that meet my approval with someone who may not have known it existed.
